Crime Prevention and Youth Justice Schools

The Queensland Government is providing $90 million in funding to establish and expand specialised schools  to provide targeted support for at-risk youth through tailored learning environments, integrated wraparound services, and early access to intervention programs designed to enhance educational outcomes and reduce reoffending.

  • Crime prevention schools

    Specialist schools offering early intervention programs and support to help students reconnect with education, develop life skills, and prepare for employment.

  • Youth Justice Schools

    Specialist schools that work with high-risk offenders on Youth Justice orders, including community service orders, police cautions and diversions or bail.
