Regional Reset

Invitation to tender for the Regional Reset program is now open!

Responses can be made until 12pm, Tuesday 13 May 2025.

The Queensland Government is delivering on its commitment to invest in early intervention programs that reduce youth offending, with $50 million in funding allocated to the Regional Reset program.

Regional Reset will feature a one- to three-week live-in component and will be delivered in nine locations across Queensland.

The program will provide intensive intervention  and support to young people at risk of contact with the youth justice system to address anti-social behaviours, connect them with education and training opportunities, and develop their employment skills. This structured program will also provide access to counselling and support young people to develop life skills through activities such as volunteering, cultural activities, and sport.

The Regional Reset program will be delivered in each of the following regions:

  • Cairns
  • Townsville
  • Rockhampton
  • Gold Coast
  • Ipswich
  • Moreton Bay
  • Maroochydore-Caloundra
  • Bundaberg-Hervey Bay
  • Mount Isa
